Visiting rules at all five jails

The Sheriff's basic rules are the same at every county jail:

  • Schedule visits in advance by calling the facility's visit scheduling number (table above), 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Up to two visitors per inmate; inmates can have up to two visits a week of about 45 minutes.
  • Bring a valid picture ID. Adult visitors must be 18 or older; check the jail's page for the rules on bringing children.
  • A dress code applies, and visitors may be searched.
  • Alcohol, drugs, weapons, knives, tear gas or pepper spray, and cameras are not allowed.

Each jail page has its own details, such as parking. Rules can change, so check the Sheriff's page for that jail before you go.
